Has anyone successfully integrated Zendesk with Slack for real-time ticket updates?
Hey everyone,
I'm currently setting up our Zendesk instance for internal testing and was wondering if anyone here has successfully integrated it with Slack.
Specifically, I'm looking to:
- Get real-time notifications in a Slack channel when a new ticket is created or updated.
- Allow agents to quickly respond or get alerts for high-priority tickets without switching platforms.
- Possibly even trigger Slack messages from ticket status changes (like when a ticket is marked "Urgent" or "On Hold").
I’ve looked into the Zendesk-Slack integration from the Marketplace, but I’m not sure if it covers all these use cases. Has anyone customized the integration or used Zapier or any other tools to enhance it?
Would love to hear what’s worked for your team (or what didn’t 😅). Screenshots or workflow examples would be awesome!
